I was recommended a root canal from my general dentist. Going into it, I was worried after hearing the typical 'horror' stories of root canals but Dr. Frye was exceptional! From the moment he applied the topical anesthetic, I never felt so much as a pinch after. He talked me through the entire process and repeatedly checked in on how I was doing through out the procedure. We encountered a small issue with a pocket of puss that wasn't draining. Dr. Frye could've just went ahead and finished the root canal but he insisted he would rather apply some medicine in that root to help dry it out and have me come back after a couple weeks to finish the procedure and on my return trip, I was in and out in under 20 minutes. I could not recommend him enough to anybody looking to have a root canal performed! ***I do, however, have to dock a half a star from my review because they did not have any stickers to hand out afterwards.***

Dr. Frye recently performed a root canal for me and, although root canals are never fun, it went really well. He was kind and patient and made sure that the root was fully numb prior to doing anything. Extraordinarily kind and patient. And I want to say that the staff there, from the front desk to the assistants (Erin, Donna, Heather, and more!), are all quite friendly. Made a not-great situation much much better than it could have been. I highly recommend Dr. Frye and staff. I almost want to say I would like to do it again, but I really don't want to have to get another root canal, lol. I had a root canal at this same practice several years ago (and it went well), so when I found out this time that this practice was out of network on my insurance, I went back anyways - I really appreciate everyone who works there.

They have a group of top-notch human beings here. Dr Kotapish is very kind, thorough, and clear in his answers. He listened to me talk about a dozen different concerns I had with an ongoing issue and took them all into consideration. Their staff is so friendly and thoughtful, I wish they worked at all of my doctors offices. Ultimately they gave me peace of mind and confidence in a plan moving forward. Thank you Akron Endo!

Does anyone look forward to a root canal? Of course not! But Dr. Frye and his staff do an incredible job of making patients feel comfortable, well-informed about the procedure, and take ample time to make sure any questions are answered. Their attentiveness is what really impressed me. Before my root canal, I mentioned that on my drive up I was listening to The Charlie Brown Christmas Album (honestly, is there better Christmas music?) Next thing I know, the hygienist has it playing while I'm in the chair! It's the little things!

I literally just got home from my root canal with Dr. Kotapish. He is an outstanding doctor. He was so very “present”, and kind, AND PATIENT! I needed a little extra anesthesia and he administered it very promptly and without making me feel like a pain in the neck. He explained everything he was doing and kept checking with me making sure I was ok. His assistant, Christine, was a gem! A few days before my appointment, I had to make an early Saturday morning phone call for antibiotics. Dr. Frye was so very kind and responsive to my condition. Within 2 minutes of hanging up with him, my pharmacy had notified me of a new RX that was called in for me. The office staff couldn’t have been more kind and just downright pleasant. From beginning to end this office extended best practices courtesy and patient care! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
